SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team. The ideal candidate need to have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 4+ years of experience in IT administration, DevOps, or a similar role, experience managing software development tools is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and long-term strategy for all development, collaboration, and monitoring tools across the company.
- Administer and maintain highly complex and critical development, collaboration, and monitoring tools across the entire infrastructure.
- Architect and enforce robust configuration, high-availability, performance tuning, and advanced security policies for core tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions).
- Proactively monitor system health, anticipate potential issues, and lead the implementation of major updates, patches, and strategic optimizations across the toolchain. .
- Serve as the primary technical expert, collaborating deeply with Development, DevOps, and IT Security teams to define and implement enterprise-wide tool standards and security enhancements.
- Design, architect, and implement complex, cross-platform automation scripts and integrations to streamline end-to-end operational workflows.
- Establish and govern best practices for tool usage, configuration management, documentation, and change control procedures.
- Lead the evaluation, piloting, and recommendation of new enterprise-level tools or significant enhancements to improve overall productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and deliver advanced training, mentorship, and documentation to junior administrators and power users.
