Responsibilities

• Technologists at WorldQuant research, design, code, test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. • The Role: We are building AI-powered applications that help WorldQuant employees access information, synthesize knowledge, and support strategic decision-making. As an AI Software Developer, you will build and evolve these products end-to-end as part of a small team. Given a feature or problem area, you will help turn an initial need into a well-defined solution: clarify requirements, shape the user experience, design and implement the system, test and deploy it, and evaluate whether it is delivering value in practice.
• Strong software engineering skills, preferably in Python, with an ability to build reliable, maintainable production systems.
• Experience taking features from an ambiguous request through technical design, delivery, rollout, and iteration.
• Strong communication skills in English, including the ability to work directly with and support internal users.
