Video Editor

Responsibilities

• AI is reshaping the video editing space in similar ways to how it is transforming software broadly. We're looking for someone who embraces this new world of creating, combining this with your own personal craft to make excellent video content. We give you the room, the tools, and the time to both create and experiment.
• Equal comfort with editing, animation, and design: you can shape a story, incorporate interesting visuals, and set clean, expressive type that reads well on any screen.
• Experience using AI tools to create animations, assist with editing, and the curiosity to push the limits of how these can be used in a video creation workflow.
• Ability to create custom scripts and leverage AI to automate parts of your pipeline, such as transcription, thumbnail ideation, and generating rough edits of large amounts of footage.
• A combination of strong individual editing skills combined with an excitement for how AI can improve the speed and quality at which we create.
• Background in Software Development, or working with Engineering companies
• Experience editing tech / developer content
• Sound design and audio mixing skills
