Loan Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Run the ops lifecycle
• Own order creation, payment link setup, document generation and tracking, delivery confirmation, and acceptance sign-off. Every step, and the SLA behind it.
• Get deals ready to fund: Work with Risk and Capital Markets to identify what each deal needs, then coordinate with clients and GTM to gather, validate, and structure it. Complete, correct, nothing outstanding.
• Drive proactive outreach: Chase pending documents, signatures, and delivery confirmations before a deal stalls. Keep clients and sales teams informed and unblocked at every stage.
• Surface recurring friction: When the same step slows deal after deal, that is a process failure or a product gap. Document it, diagnose it, and escalate it with a recommended fix.
• Keep the playbooks current
• Maintain and extend documentation for every ops scenario, so the team scales, onboarding is fast, and AI agents have the structured context they need.
• Feed the product roadmap
• Partner with Product by mapping the manual touchpoints you live in every day. You will not own the build, but your input helps shape what gets automated first.
• Track funnel health: Report on time-to-fund, stage conversion, and document turnaround. Surface blockers early with the data behind them.
