Responsibilities
- manage and support routing and switching environments, including VLAN, STP, OSPF and BGP
- administer and support LAN/WAN infrastructure
- monitor network availability, health, performance and capacity
- manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP-related issues
- monitor network traffic and identify performance or security-related issues
- maintain network device configurations and ensure configuration backups are up to date
- support the implementation and maintenance of network security standards and access controls
- maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, procedures and infrastructure inventories.
