IT Infrastructure & Network Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms, including virtual machine deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to clients through ticketing systems, email, phone, and remote support.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and group policies across Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, security patches, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor the health and availability of cloud and on-premises servers, services, backup systems, and storage infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration documentation, and end-user knowledge bases.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure, including routers, managed switches, firewalls, and wireless access points from vendors such as Cisco, HPE, and Fortinet.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, IP subnetting, and static/dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP).
• Monitor network traffic, performance, availability, and uptime, identify potential bottlenecks and implement appropriate improvements and security controls.
