After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond.
Responsibilities
- ⭐Our Design team
- We’re a team of 115+ designers, researchers, and brand experts led by Chief Design Officer Vuokko Aro. We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. Product Design makes up over half of our design disciplines, working in tight-knit squads alongside research, product, engineering and data to solve real customer problems at scale.
- We design for the "magic moments"
- Right now, we’re growing fast and looking for passionate designers to shape Monzo’s future — and there’s a huge opportunity to make your mark.
- For this role, you’ll have a particular focus on our web experiences, helping us rethink how people discover, explore and choose Monzo before they ever open the app. You’ll combine strong visual and interaction design with a data-informed mindset, using experimentation and customer insight to understand what works and continuously improve the experience.
- You don’t need to have worked in a dedicated Growth team before. We’re interested in designers who are curious about customer behaviour, comfortable using data to inform their decisions, and excited by the opportunity to apply exceptional craft to high-impact customer journeys.
- Leading the design of high-quality web experiences that help new and existing customers discover the value Monzo can bring to their financial lives.
- Using quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, understand customer behaviour and make informed design decisions.
- Turning customer and business problems into clear hypotheses, designing experiments and using what you learn to shape what we do next.
- Tackling complex and ambiguous design challenges, balancing customer needs, business goals and technical constraints to create simple, effective experiences.
