Senior Technical Project Manager (ITS & Authoring Systems)

Responsibilities

• Roadmap Contribution & Technical
• Design Leadership
• Manage roadmap: Work closely with the Technical Directors and engineering leads to actively contribute to the system roadmap, assessing technical feasibility and infrastructure scaling needs of AI and non-AI software projects.
• Facilitate design discussions
• Facilitate and guide technical design discussions, asking critical questions to help developers hash out complex logic blockages.
• Author technical requirements: Distill high-level business goals into detailed technical specifications and API boundary definitions.
• Proactively manage roadblocks
• Identify structural technical risks early, mitigate system constraints, and drive key technology choices.
• External Technical Communications & Interoperability
• Manage external tech communications: Serve as the primary technical interface for external organizations, state educational agencies, and client integration teams.
