Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to drive our vision. The ideal candidate is an expert in Electrical design for high density compute.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review electrical design packages: power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS, and busway
- Ensure electrical designs meet capacity, redundancy, and code requirements across sites
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and commissioning on integrated system design
- Support constructibility reviews and RFI resolution during construction and site selection
- Act as electrical SME in client/tenant design reviews and technical due diligence sessions as needed, translating design decisions into terms a non-engineering client audience can act on
- Mentor junior electrical engineers on the design team
