As a Senior Backend Developer in our Reservations Squad, you will take ownership of the financially critical heart of Lodgify’s platform—the booking lifecycle, financial calculations, and real-time availability calendar. You will tackle technical challenges head-on by advancing our event-driven architecture and completing critical database migrations while playing a key role in raising the bar for engineering reliability and team mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Drive event-driven messaging using RabbitMQ outbox/inbox patterns and Kafka (Avro) to guarantee reliable data fan-out across payments, messaging, and channel managers.
- Lead the architectural transition from EF6/SQL Server to EF Core 8/PostgreSQL, executing zero-downtime schema updates that pave the way for continuous delivery.
