We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Platform Administrator to manage and optimize our Jira Cloud environment while supporting our software, system, and test engineering teams. You will play a key role in improving workflows, permissions, and automation, as well as controlling changes using scripting and API integrations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and configure Jira Cloud environments to meet organizational needs
- Review and improve existing workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules
- Set up and maintain Jira projects, schemes, workflows, permissions, and notifications
- Document existing and newly created processes in Jira
- Monitor and troubleshoot Jira Cloud issues to ensure timely resolutions
- Create new users, assign permissions, and manage projects
- Control changes in permission schemes, screens, and workflows using automation and scripting
- Develop and implement automation for project and workflow creation or modification
- Support and enhance Python scripts using Atlassian Python APIs
- Coordinate with engineering teams to fulfill project requirements
