We are looking for a Senior AI Test Automation Engineer to join a team developing enterprise-grade financial technology solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing across UI, API, and integration layers, while contributing to the evolution of an AI-driven approach to software quality and test automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and service integrations
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium
- Develop end-to-end and integration test suites for critical business workflows
- Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including regression execution and quality gates
- Continuously improve automated test coverage and reduce manual testing
- Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve defects
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and performance checks where appropriate
- Maintain test cases, test runs, coverage, and traceability in TestRail
- Manage defects and collaborate with the team through Jira
- Contribute to test architecture, automation strategy, and continuous improvement of QA practices
