In this role you will get opportunities to implement and maintain CI/CD systems and developer productivity solutions. You will be responsible for both regularly scheduled work as well as on-demand break-fix work to support Dremio’s CI/CD system, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of those systems.
Responsibilities
- Solve problems for fellow Dremio engineers by
- Leveraging and contributing to playbooks to implement solutions to unblock them
- Identifying short term workarounds and documenting them
- Automating processes where manual processes exist.
- Working on infrastructure across all major clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Managing access to key infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and associated systems to increase organizational efficiency.
- Automate local development workflows.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks, root cause issues, file defects, follow up with developers, and document resolutions.
- Clear focus on keeping our development branches ‘green’.
