We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Cloud Platform Engineer to help clients establish, automate, and operationalise Microsoft Fabric environments using cloud engineering best practices. This role is ideal for a cloud platform engineer who enjoys building secure, scalable foundations for data and analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric platform foundations, including capacities, workspaces, OneLake, environment structures, and platform configuration.
- Establish and manage DEV, TEST, and PROD environments and deployment strategies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and other automation technologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
- Implement security, identity, and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Azure services and broader cloud platforms.
- Develop reusable automation and deployment patterns to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Support monitoring, logging, operational readiness, and platform governance.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enable workloads and remove platform barriers.
- Produce technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
