Software-Architect / System-Designer (100% Remote / German-Speaking)

Responsibilities

• Own the system design – you decide how data is modeled, where state lives, how components talk to each other, and how the whole system behaves under load. You stay responsible for it once it's live.
• Make the hard, hard-to-reverse design decisions early – and reason explicitly about the trade-offs behind them
• Design and own our data layer from the ground up for new features – tables and relationships, indexing strategy, and query/load optimization that holds up as data and traffic grow
• Design queues, background jobs and long-running workflows that stay correct and reliable under heavy load and partial failure
• Talk to customers to understand how they actually use the product, and bring that into architecture decisions, the direction of our stack and the overall product vision
• Work independently in an AI-first development setup with Claude
• Hausverwalter.ai is an all-in-one platform for property management companies with features like an Inbox, CRM, Documents, Telephony, Video Calls, Team Chat and AI-Agents. We want to automate as much of a property manager's daily work as we can.
