Senior System Software Engineer, NVLink Fusion

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain next-generation NVLink Fusion features across one or more low-level software layers, including kernel-mode drivers and embedded firmware or microcode.
• Drive features across the product lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, pre-silicon verification, silicon bring-up, validation, productization, and production support.
• Develop unit, integration, and system-level tests, diagnostics, and automation across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
• Debug complex hardware, firmware, kernel, and system-level issues across the hardware/software boundary.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external technology partners to integrate, validate, and debug NVLink Fusion platforms.
• Develop low-level production software primarily in C and C++
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews, build technical consensus across teams, and improve software quality, maintainability, and release readiness.
• What we need to see
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant software, firmware, or systems development experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and debugging low-level software.
