Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures for certain key balance sheets and income statement accounts (including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and performing flux analysis). • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners within the Company to support the accounting close process.
• Develop, implement and maintain key policies and procedures for your assigned areas of responsibilities.
• Provide support for financial statement audits and tax filings upon request
• Aid in the optimization of existing platforms and the use of platforms such as NetSuite, Floqast and Navan
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
• What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting
• Netsuite experience (required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
