We're looking for a KDB Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid working mode. The role focuses on maintaining, evolving and optimizing a production-grade data platform that supports electronic equities market data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Develop business-focused dashboards using Tableau or Python frameworks such as Plotly and Streamlit or through official analytics pipelines
- Design, code, test and deploy KDB+/q services for data enrichment and presentation
- Profile and optimize KDB queries to improve performance and reduce bottlenecks
- Participate in on-call rotations, address production incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Document code, processes and procedures for effective knowledge sharing and continuity
- Contribute to automated unit, integration and performance testing as well as CI pipelines
- Implement schema validation and outlier detection checks to ensure data quality
