Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own and improve our cloud-hosting-cost (COGS) analysis — breaking hosting spend (e.g., compute, storage, and AI/LLM usage) down by area and by customer to understand customer-level usage and margin
• Take ownership of Pigment, our BI and planning tool — building and maintaining reports and supporting forecasting and monthly and quarterly close
• Partner with engineering on R&D capitalization, capitalizing engineering time for the products they help build
• Run forecasting and planning for the R&D organization, including headcount and software planning
• Track and help manage our AI/LLM tooling costs, monitoring usage against budget
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, data, and IT to improve our financial processes and reporting
• Support the finance team on special projects and ad-hoc analysis, with a focus on improving processes and scalability as we grow
