Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define technology standards and the future state of Google Cloud Platform Services including reference architectures, guiding principles and solution building blocks
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, System Architects and other team members to develop and operate Google Cloud platform services
• Lead the design and implementation of Identity and Access Management across Google Cloud Platform including service accounts, organizational policies and modern authentication patterns
• Drive infrastructure automation and standardized provisioning using Infrastructure as Code with a strong focus on Terraform and reusable modules
• Support team members in developing and maintaining new platform services including hands-on infrastructure-as-code and other automation best practices
• Partner with FinOps stakeholders to embed billing visibility, cost control and optimization practices into platform services
• Ensure security, compliance and quality standards are consistently applied through design reviews, implementation validation and continuous improvement
• Mentor engineers within the Google Cloud Platform team and contribute to cloud best practices, patterns and documentation
• Build proofs of concept and proofs of value for new Google Cloud capabilities
• Maintain high quality cloud design documentation within the domain
