We're looking for a Senior Oracle DB Specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and database architecture to support the integration of complex financial systems and ensure the stability of mission-critical platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead database-related aspects of integrating the order management system (IBM OTMS) with the future core banking platform
- Support secondary market trading operational integrations by providing strong technical expertise
- Deliver technical guidance across development and DevOps teams during system implementation phases
- Collaborate with business analysts to identify functional requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions
- Utilize Oracle PL/SQL expertise to optimize performance, streamline operations, and maintain high data integrity
- Communicate effectively with external vendors (market data and exchange platforms) to ensure smooth business expansion and reliable systems integration
- Contribute to strategic discussions regarding software solutions for our client’s Order Management division
- Maintain existing systems and proactively identify opportunities for technical enhancement
