Responsibilities

• The experience, end to end.
• Navigation, information architecture, page quality, speed, the path from first click to signup or demo, for each of the three audiences. When someone gets lost on our site, it is your problem before it is anyone else’s.
• The proactive layer.
• Most of this job is not inbound. It is you noticing the two pages quietly competing for the same search, the page that drifted out of sync with the product, the developer journey that buries the one thing developers came for. Some of it you fix yourself. Some of it you hand to the SEO team with the structural context…
• The roadmap, jointly.
• Each business line has a product marketing owner who knows their audience and their story. They own what their pages say. You own how the site works, how the pieces fit together, and what happens in what order. That means running a real intake, sequencing on impact instead of volume, and saying “not yet” with a reason…
• The quality bar.
• Every page carries a point of view or it does not ship. Storytelling is not decoration here, it is the product. You will push back on a wall of feature bullets and ask what this page is actually trying to make someone understand, feel and do.
• The evidence.
• Analytics, session replay, search data, experiments. Hypothesis, one variable, kill criteria, learning written down. A year of that should read as a body of knowledge, not a list of shipped tasks.
