We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Architect to lead the architecture, modernization, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Mainframe solutions. In this role, you will lead analysis, design, development, testing, and support of Mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end architecture for Mainframe applications and platforms
Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing mainframe solutions
Create architecture blueprints, design documents, and technical roadmaps
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance
Evaluate technology options and provide recommendations aligned with enterprise standards
Drive modernization initiatives including Mainframe transformation, API enablement, service-oriented architectures, event-driven integrations, cloud integration strategies, and legacy application modernization
Assess application portfolios and define migration or coexistence strategies
Support hybrid architectures involving Mainframe, distributed systems, and cloud platforms
Provide technical leadership to development and support teams, and mentor senior developers and technical leads
Define coding, deployment, and operational standards; lead design workshops and stakeholder discussions
