As a Product Manager - Accounts, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Alpaca's core account management and identity verification systems. You will be the voice of our partners, working to create a flexible and compliant global account infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of various account structures, including fully disclosed, omnibus, and omnibus with sub-accounting, to meet the diverse needs of our global B2B clients.
- Develop and enhance features such as the ability to open accounts for entities, create sub-accounts for distinct trading strategies, and manage multiple account types (e.g., self-directed, robo, retirement)
- Lead the strategy for KYC and identity verification, supporting various models from partner-led KYC to integrated solutions with third-party providers
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regional business teams to navigate the complexities of different jurisdictions, ensuring our account systems meet local licensing, data management, and financial requirements
