Position Overview: The American University of Armenia (AUA) invites applications for a full-time position (Assistant or Associate Professor or Lecturer) in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the Turpanjian College of Health Sciences (TCHS). The program seeks a dynamic nurse educator committed to advancing evidence-based practice, student-centered teaching, and the development of Armenia’s nursing workforce.
Responsibilities
- Applicants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Nursing. The position offers an exciting opportunity for an academic scholar to
- teach undergraduate courses in nursing in the BSN program and advise students on capstone projects
- mentor and motivate undergraduate nursing students
- participate in the continuing development of the BSN program, including curriculum development and student recruitment
- develop a program of research and participate in nursing research projects of the Avedisian Onanian Center for Health Services
- Research and Development (CHSR)
- actively participate in faculty governance initiatives, and
- teach graduate courses in public health in her/his areas of expertise (if the applicant has a PhD)
