Construction-Engineer/Corporate Services Directorate/Planning and Analysis Division

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance and renovation works for the Bank’s buildings and facilities and provide proposals regarding the related budget allocations.
• Prepare technical specifications for design and cost-estimation documentation, expert examinations, as well as technical and author supervision services related to maintenance and renovation projects.
• Prepare the technical documentation required for maintenance and renovation works, including defect reports, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
• Participate in the technical evaluation of procurement processes.
• Supervise the implementation of maintenance and renovation works, verify compliance with contractual requirements, accept completed works, and ensure proper documentation of project deliverables.
• Cooperate with construction contractors, technical supervisors, and author supervision representatives, discuss issues arising during project implementation, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Monitor legal acts regulating the construction sector, stay up to date with developments in construction and engineering, and recommend the adoption of relevant best practices.
• Develop and improve internal regulations and other documents related to the unit’s activities, and perform other duties arising from the position.
