Principal Software Engineer, International Integrations

Responsibilities

• Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team.
• Lead fellow developers, product managers, designers, and user researchers to build a strong tech infrastructure that enables scalably integration of key customer software partners.
• Architect, create and maintain an AI harness for the rapid integration and maintenance of partners with Toast’s systems
• Define and drive technical strategy for problems that affect our International expansion efforts
• Mentor developers across multiple teams through code-pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews
• Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life cycles
• Document solution design, write & review code, test and rollout solutions to production, capturing & actioning customer feedback to iteratively enhance customer experience
• Collaborate with UX, Product Management, QA and partner engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions in a complex and fast-moving environment
