(Senior) Controller

We’re looking for a Senior Controller to join Yazio and take full ownership of our controlling function as we continue to scale. You will bring structure, rigour and depth to our monthly close, accounting operations and internal controls, setting the standard for how controlling operates at Yazio.
Responsibilities
- Build, own and drive the monthly close end-to-end, ensuring fast, accurate and well-coordinated financial reporting with Accounting and key stakeholders
- Act as the primary go-to for technical accounting questions, supporting new business models, contracts and complex accounting treatments
- Develop and maintain technical accounting documentation and position papers (for example, revenue recognition, capitalization, leases and other complex topics)
- Manage and coordinate external partners including accountants, tax advisors and auditors, ensuring strong documentation quality and smooth collaboration
- Drive process and system improvements to reduce manual effort, increase close efficiency and build scalable, well-documented workflows
- Build a modern, scalable finance function through automation, standardization and continuous improvement
