We are seeking a Lead Firmware Engineer (Embedded C) to lead a vendor-managed service team supporting EFI Diagnostics development and new product introduction factory work, based on-site at a client office in Shanghai. You will own quality and delivery, coach and onboard engineers, manage day-to-day prioritization and serve as the primary contact and first escalation point for the client.
Responsibilities
- Own team deliverables and quality across diagnostics development and factory support work
- Plan day-to-day execution including task breakdown, resource assignment and scheduling
- Onboard, train and coach team members through regular check-ins and feedback
- Triage incoming escalations, drive resolution and coordinate next steps with the client
- Review issue handling across the team and remove blockers to protect build readiness
- Produce a weekly summary report covering progress, risks, priorities and escalations
- Gather feedback from cross-functional stakeholders and translate it into team actions
- Support quarterly checkpoints with the client, focusing on delivery quality and improvements
