Cloud Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the organization and oversight of cloud engineering teams and projects
• Define team roles, workflows, and delivery standards
• Provide hands-on technical assistance in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts
• Develop project visibility and reporting mechanisms with minimal oversight
• Implement SLA and SLO monitoring to ensure service performance benchmarks are met
• Support diverse engagement structures, including time-and-materials and fixed-price models
• Participate in client communication, proposal generation, and minor pre-sales tasks
• Lead teams of up to 20 FTE, handling recruitment, onboarding, staffing, performance evaluation, and retention initiatives
• Ensure delivery aligned with best practices in cloud engineering
• Represent the organization at industry events, including conferences and meetups
