Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Tax Compliance & Strategy
• Oversee the accurate calculation, filing, and payment of all corporate taxes (VAT, income tax, payroll taxes).
• Act as the primary point of contact for external tax auditors.
• Team Leadership
• Manage, mentor, and review the work of the accounting team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accountants).
• Internal Controls & Audits
• Design and enforce internal accounting policies to prevent errors and fraud. Coordinate annual external audits, providing all necessary documentation.
• Treasury & Cash Flow
• Monitor daily cash positions, approve high-value payments, and assist in cash flow forecasting.
