South Gate is looking for an experienced Fund Accountant to manage the accounting and net asset value (NAV) calculation process for Armenian investment funds. The successful candidate will ensure accurate valuations, maintain reliable accounting records, and prepare timely regulatory reports.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify NAV, NAV per unit, and subscription and redemption price calculations in accordance with each fund’s valuation schedule, governing documents, and applicable Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) requirements.
- Perform portfolio valuations, record fund transactions, and calculate and accrue management fees and other fund expenses.
- Reconcile cash balances and portfolio positions with custodian records, and units outstanding with the unitholder register.
- Prepare regulatory reports for submission to the CBA.
- Investigate valuation and reconciliation discrepancies, identify NAV errors, and coordinate their resolution.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and work closely with the fund manager and external auditors.
