Senior Software Test Automation Engineer - JavaScript / TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and evolve the architecture of a test automation framework in JavaScript/TypeScript using Playwright or comparable tooling
• Define a balanced test strategy across API, contract, component, and end-to-end test levels
• Test cloud-based applications and services, including APIs, integrations, and cloud service dependencies
• Build scalable test execution using containerization, parallel execution, and sharding
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear reporting, traces, and actionable failure information
• Investigate flaky tests and identify root causes related to timing, test data, environment, and test isolation
• Use GenAI tools and agents to generate, maintain, and analyze automated tests, and review their output
• Define technical standards for test code, perform code reviews, and collaborate with developers to improve application testability
