We are seeking a Firmware Engineer (Embedded C) to support a vendor-managed EFI Diags team, based on-site at a client office in Shanghai. You will configure and validate firmware for new products, run builds and releases, triage issues and support factory build readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain firmware targets for new products, features and requirements
  • Validate firmware operability on new products and support debugging through logs and traces
  • Run daily builds and support releases, including publishing clear release notes
  • Triage incoming issues, resolve straightforward defects and escalate blockers to internal developers
  • Provide factory support by reproducing issues at stations or labs and validating engineering builds
  • Maintain and create factory test scripts in Python or Lua for new test requirements
  • Act as primary point of contact across factory build, test, electrical engineering, firmware and program teams
  • Track priorities, escalate build blockers and provide status in build-prep meetings
