Senior Test Automation Engineer (TeamCity)

Responsibilities

• As our user base grows and enterprise pipelines become more complex, ensuring the highest quality for TeamCity is critical for the people who depend on us daily.
• We are looking for a senior engineer to own the quality engineering platform behind TeamCity. This is not a manual testing role or a suite maintenance job. You will spend your time writing code, building the tooling and frameworks that enable dozens of product engineers to ship confidently, removing manual work…
• You will lead the technical direction for quality on a large, feature-rich product, bring practical AI approaches into the workflow where they genuinely add value, and collaborate across teams to help product engineers own their tests.
• Day to day, you will
• Evolve the automated testing platform, including frameworks, infrastructure, reporting, and CI/CD chains.
• Identify slow, manual, or fragile parts of our engineering process – such as release automation, feedback loops, and test flakiness – and fix them at the root.
• Integrate AI into the quality workflow for test generation with guardrails, automated failure triage, and self-healing tests.
• Work directly with product teams to help them write and own their tests, review their contributions, and evangelize solid test design.
• Investigate failures and flakiness across both tests and product code to drive them to resolution.
• Participate in all stages of product development, from initial design through release, interacting with internal and external users.
