Faculty members are expected to teach three courses per semester and to maintain an active, externally visible research program. Beyond the classroom, the successful candidate will help develop and modernize the curriculum, contributing to new courses, hands-on labs, and project-based learning that reflects current industry and research practice in Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Responsibilities

  • Teaching and curriculum development in areas such as AI, ML, deep learning, generative AI, agentic AI, AI systems, robotics, and other related fields.
  • Contribute to curricular and programmatic developments
  • Engage actively in research that contributes to the fields of AI, and ML, and publish findings in high impact journals
  • Mentor students in their academic and research pursuits, including capstone project supervision and independent studies
  • Participate in program, college, and university service activities
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Program Chair(s) and/or Dean
