We're looking for a QA Engineer to join a team of manual QA engineers. You'll own the quality of Platform functionality in a startup rhythm with short iterations and frequent releases.
Responsibilities
- Test new features end to end during development: frontend, backend, APIs and third-party integrations
- Run regression testing before releases and smoke testing on production after each release
- Validate business and technical requirements with Product and Engineering before development starts
- Investigate defects with logs, API responses and network traffic, and write clear, reproducible bug reports
- Be the first line for requests from Monetization, Finance and Product Tech: reproduce the issue, assess severity and escalate with facts
- Maintain test documentation in TestRail, Jira and Confluence
- Work with the Automation QA team to decide which cases to automate
- 4+ years of manual QA of web applications (frontend, backend, API)
- Risk-based test design: you can explain what you test, what you don't, and why
- API testing with Postman / Charles and Swagger / OpenAPI
