We are looking for an Automation Stream Lead to join our Automation team.
The Automation team is responsible for building and scaling internal automation solutions that optimize business processes across Plata. We design and maintain complex workflows, integrate dozens of internal and external systems, and leverage AI technologies to automate operations, improve efficiency, and enable faster decision-making across the company.
As an Automation Stream Lead, you will take full ownership of our automation ecosystem, combining technical leadership with hands-on engineering. You will define the technical direction of the stream, mentor the team, and actively design and implement high-impact automation and AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a "playing coach"—leading by example while remaining deeply involved in architecture and development.
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-load automation workflows using n8n and other low-code platforms
Mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, conducting workflow and code reviews, and supporting the team's technical growth
Continuously improving automation architecture, development practices, and operational efficiency
Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Senior Automation Engineer ready to take ownership of a technical stream
Experience designing scalable architectures and making technical decisions for business-critical systems
Experience with Jira Software and Jira Service Management, including advanced API integrations
