Senior Managed Runtime Compiler Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with a distributed team of compiler and runtime engineers to accelerate workloads on NVIDIA Vera and Vera Rubin systems.
• Analyze execution paths spanning interpreters, bytecode, JIT/AOT compilers, VMs, garbage collection, runtime libraries, and OS interactions.
• Investigate CPU Agentic application stacks, including Python, Node.js, Java, and related frameworks.
• Work with application performance, CPU architecture, compiler, runtime, and product teams to find bottlenecks and deliver measurable speedups.
• Land optimizations in open source projects and internal NVIDIA software stacks.
• Participate in HW/SW co-design from pre-silicon analysis through launch, customer enablement, and production support.
• What we need to see
• Bachelor's, Master's, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of production software development experience in compilers, language runtimes, virtual machines, interpreters, performance engineering, or related systems software.
• Excellent hands-on C/C++ programming skills and experience working in large production codebases.
