As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead delivery across both our team and the client's team, overseeing core project management activities while serving as the primary driver of process improvement. You will delegate routine coordination tasks to team leads whenever possible, allowing you to focus on the bigger picture: identifying opportunities to help a distributed team work more efficiently and effectively through AI, automation, and continuous process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and track delivery for a blended team consisting of our engineers and the client's in house development team, ensuring clear priorities, timelines, and execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives, while delegating routine facilitation activities to team leads where appropriate.
- Assess existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement practical process improvements that deliver measurable and sustainable results.
- Own and continuously improve the Jira environment, including workflows, boards, dashboards, automation rules, and reporting standards.
- Drive the adoption of AI powered tools, particularly Claude, by identifying high value use cases, running pilots, scaling successful initiatives, and measuring their impact.
- Design and implement automation for repetitive project management and team processes, including status reporting, ticket triage, and recurring operational updates.
- Define, monitor, and analyze team efficiency metrics, providing clear progress reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Mentor and support team leads in taking ownership of day to day coordination activities, enabling effective team operations with reduced reliance on central project management.
