Engineering Relations Partner

Responsibilities

• Moniepoint Inc. is Africa’s all-in-one financial platform, helping 20 million businesses and individuals access seamless payments, banking, credit, cross-border, and business management tools each month.
• We are looking for an Engineering Relations Partner to join the Corporate Affairs and R&D teams. You will work closely with our engineering teams to tell the story of what we’re building in a language that other expert engineers understand.
• This is a technical content execution role requiring strong, foundational engineering skills. You will translate what our engineers build and learn into high-quality narratives: the kind that earns genuine respect in engineering communities, gets accepted at top-tier conferences, and attracts exceptional engineers from around the world.
• Proactive narrative instinct: The ability to independently dive into engineering projects, spot the most compelling technical breakthroughs or lessons, and build content around them without needing explicit instruction.
• Autonomy: The ability to manage multiple projects, technical interviews, and deadlines independently in a fully remote environment.
• Active engineering or open-source involvement: An active presence in developer spaces, an updated technical blog, open-source contributions, or a history of speaking at engineering conferences.
• Developer Relations experience: Background in DevRel or managing technical communities, showing you know how to engage developers authentically at scale.
