AWS DevOps Engineer [Lead]

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the microservices architecture design and development based on the strangler fig tree approach to replace legacy monolith systems incrementally
• Design, implement, and upkeep Java-based scalable, high-performance solutions supporting transformation and migration activities
• Engage with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality solutions in adherence with AWS best practices for cloud-native applications
• Provide expertise in technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews aimed at efficient, reusable, and maintainable code emphasizing performance optimization and fault tolerance
• Supervise unit tests, integration tests, and strategies for deploying to maintain superior implementations
• Collaborate intensively with database engineers and DevOps teams to fortify robust CI/CD deployment pipelines for microservices
• Track system performance, resolve issues, and apply preemptive enhancements
• Establish best practices for cloud security, IAM policies, and encryption models
