• We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our Admin Workflows team, focused on creating simple and intuitive workflows to assist B2B Administrators in setting up, managing and enforcing 1Password across their organization to achieve wall to wall adoption.
• Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
• Strong experience building backend services in a modern language (e.g. Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python)
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable notification systems for administrators across email and integration channels.
• Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
• Security experience with understanding of security-focused development practices, threat modeling, and building systems that handle sensitive data
