We are looking for strong engineers to support and grow our engineering practices. The role suits someone comfortable at the intersection of UI, logic and engineering work who wants to take on more responsibility over time and influence features and the whole project. C++ experience is not required: we have a solid onboarding path for moving from Unity to C++.

Responsibilities

Programming game logic and features
UI development: window structure, working with the UI Kit, bringing the visuals into the engine
Using and improving our AI tools at every stage of development, from breaking a task down to tests and delivery — with full responsibility for the quality of the code that gets generated
Taking an active part in team discussions of features and changes
Optimising performance and automating the routine.
Languages: C++ 17/20 mainly; Lua and Python for occasional tasks
Our own engine, similar to Unity or Unreal, which we develop continuously. We have our own AI assistant to get you into its codebase quickly.
AI: Claude, Cursor and Codex with repository rules configured, a growing catalogue of specialised skills, and agent modes for particular tasks. 1+ year building commercial game projects in C++ and/or Unity
Experience using AI tools to measurable effect — deeper than chat prompts: from current prompt-engineering practice to building agent workflows and validating what they produce
