• We’re hiring an Intermediate Frontend Developer to join our Device Security team. 1Password helps people use technology safely, and our Device Security initiative is expanding that mission to the devices where work happens. As a mid-level Developer, you’ll help build administrative experiences such as device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools while contributing to a new product initiative from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and infrastructure partners to make complex security information easier for enterprise administrators to understand and act on.
• Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
• You have 2+ years of experience in software development, including building web experiences with React and TypeScript.
• You have experience developing clear, maintainable frontend components and interfaces for complex product requirements.
• You communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers, Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners.
• You’re comfortable using artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted development tools thoughtfully and understand their capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with Rust or Go, full-stack development with a frontend focus, composable design system components, or security, administration, or device management products.
• Build and maintain administrative interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools.
