Lead Software Engineer - Python

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, craft technical designs, and ensure alignment with business goals
• Direct development of scalable, maintainable, high-quality software solutions
• Conduct code reviews and other technical reviews to uphold standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks
• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate implementation of features and overall solutions
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems across all phases of the development lifecycle
• Guide and mentor engineers by providing technical leadership and encouraging skills development
• Drive adoption of modern tooling and processes, including CI/CD using GitHub Actions
• Improve application performance and tune database queries to ensure scalability and efficiency
• Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage delivery and provide iterative improvements
• Oversee database architecture decisions and ensure applications integrate properly with the data layer
