Lead Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript, Playwright)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
• Implement BDD-style test cases (Given-When-Then) to ensure clarity and collaboration across teams
• Automate end-to-end UI workflows and API endpoints
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
• Develop and execute manual test cases when required
• Document test results and defects, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to embed quality throughout the SDLC
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, advocating for testability and quality
• Lead and mentor the test automation team, providing guidance on best practices
• Drive continuous improvement of test automation strategy and processes
