Head of Brokerage

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement brokerage business strategies, new trading ideas, investment opportunities to expand trading volumes, revenue, client relationships, and market access.
• Evaluate alternative trading and custody routes to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Source competitive pricing, liquidity, and execution opportunities from brokers, dealers, and other counterparties.
• Monitor and analyze local and global financial markets.
• Review portfolio performance and recommend improvements.
• Manage the execution of client orders across various asset classes, including equities, government and corporate bonds, US Treasuries, ETFs, and other financial instruments, subject to the company's permissions and market access.
• Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, and internal operations and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
• Establish internal procedures and improve operational efficiency across the brokerage function.
• Ensure brokerage activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the company's authorizations.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments, partner organizations, and financial institutions involved in investment services.
