Responsibilities
Work on POS, one of Salmon's core products, launched in 2022: a complex offline B2B2C model where success depends not only on the lending proposition, but on partner processes, agent behaviour, onboarding, and field execution — spanning the core product, the agent mobile app, customer and web journeys, and…
Take a strong core product into its next stage of growth: winning in specific segments. How do we grow lending for newly released smartphones while staying profitable? What has to change to lead financing in a category like motorcycle helmets or audio equipment? The answer may sit in different rates, promotions, sales…
Own the repeat-customer segment in parallel — understanding the existing base, finding meaningful segments, and adapting mechanics and journeys to drive repeat usage — working in small cross-functional pods with Product Marketing, Analytics, and commercial segment owners, reporting to the Head of POS and BNPL Product.
Build the segmentation and product-adaptation stream: identify opportunities across partners, product categories, and customer segments, and define how pricing, promotions, sales processes, and journeys should adapt for each.
Own product development for the repeat-customer segment — segment the existing base and turn retention opportunities into shipped product mechanics.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across the core product, web, customer app, and agent app, coordinating delivery through several teams and shared development resources.
Turn opportunities into validated bets: build hypotheses with Product Marketing and Analytics, run tests and pilots, assess results, and scale the mechanics that work.
Build the analytical assessments and business cases that back your product decisions.
Keep multiple parallel workstreams and cross-team dependencies moving — and re-prioritise when a more urgent product or business initiative needs support.
