We are engaging Senior FreeCAD Engineers to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design for Manyfacturing (DFM)
- Assembly Design
- Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to specified project requirements.
- Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies, leveraging best practices in assembly design and component integration.
- Apply rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Collaborate by providing insightful feedback on model accuracy, design intent, and process improvements.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or industrial engineering or any other related field with a focus on parametric CAD modeling.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, including GD&T and DFM best practices.
